Hi there! This week we have been covering the topic of collaborative learning in class, and I want to share my thoughts about it with you. When talking about collaborative learning, I refer to a way of learning in which "we learn together to achieve things ourselves". I personally like to work in groups, although my favourite way of working may be in pairs (apart from working alone). I consider you can learn a lot from your partners, as well as you can share your own knowledge, so in the end you end, up learning together.

Some people do not like this way of working because they prefer to do their homework on their own or because they have had bad experiences in the past. In my case, I have had a mixture of experiences. Fortunately, most of the time I have worked with hardworking people, so it was relatively easy to get the results I wanted to achieve. However, there have been other times when I have had to deal with the problem of having to work with someone who just doesn't want to collaborate. These situations can be very frustrating, but I believe that you can learn from all the experiences that you face in life, so if you have this problem once, you will know how to act the second time you experience it.

Also, I think it's a lot more fun working with people. There may be times when you are tired of work and can spend some time relaxing with them. You get to know people, you socialize, and you can bond with them.

On the other hand, sometimes things don't happen as expected. The other day in class we were doing an activity where we were supposed to get a better grade working together than separately. However, when Sandra and I (hello Sandra, if you read this) made our decision, we found that we had scored worse than when we took them alone.

Therefore, I think that working in a group may not be the best way to learn, but in my opinion, it is a lot more fun than working alone.
