Hi everyone! How are you doing? Today I'm not only posting again but also creating a new section named "Let's talk about...". I think it can be interesting if I share my opinion on some topics in this section, and then you leave your comments and share your opinions with me.

So, today I want to share with you my opinion on a topic my class and teacher discuss in the subject of Innovation and ICTs. Before introducing the topic (although you can read it in the title of the post), it would be interesting that you watch this TED Talk by Angela Lee Duckworth, Grit: The power of passion and perseverance.

So now, let's talk about motivation and grit!

I want to say I have loved Angela's talk. I consider society sometimes tends to focus on numbers and grades, and that makes a lot of people believe they cannot achieve their goals or fulfil their dreams.

Of course, I consider that whenever you want to achieve a goal, you have to be realistic with yourself. It is quite strange that you achieve a specific goal very easily unless it is a simple one, but good things usually take time.

I also believe that there are certain times in life when someone may not feel as motivated as they would like. However, when you surround yourself with good company, I find that it is easier to get out of that mental block.

As with everything in life, I also believe that we will always be learning about how to stay motivated, courageous, and focused on our goals. When you want to learn a new language, you have to be determined, you cannot leave it and think that one day you will wake up and you will know how to speak in that language, you need to give it the necessary time to learn it.

In my case, sometimes I feel a bit lazy with my goals. I'm exposing myself and being completely honest as there are days when I just don't want to do anything. However, I have found over the years that I feel much better when I consider myself productive and achieving my purposes. Reaching your goals gives you a unique sense of happiness and reward, which is why I am trying to learn how to achieve a certain level of satisfaction every day.

I love having goals. Sometimes I might even get overly excited about them, but I'd rather live my life with excitement than that sense of lethargy that sometimes overwhelms me.

And now what do you think of this? Let me know in the comments.

Bye!
