First things first ⸺ Who am I?

Hi there! I'll start my first post by introducing myself, super innovative I know. My name is Marco, I am from Spain and I would like to be a teacher in the near future. If you think it is too simple an introduction, I invite you to continue reading.

This is not the first time I have blogged. I used to have one, but on a different platform and for different purposes. I wrote literary reviews about the books I was reading at the time and it was an experience that I really enjoyed. However, it was not a very long episode in my life, as I could not sustain it due to lack of time.

A few years later, because this happened in 2015, I decided to try again but on a different platform: Instagram. I created my account last year in August but only used it for two months. Right now I don't think I can be a blogger or bookstagrammer like I was at the time, but I enjoyed and learned a lot from these experiences.

In fact, one of the things I learned was how useful social media is for sharing knowledge and experiences with other people. Everyone is one click away from sharing a post with the rest of the world, and you can learn a lot through these different platforms. You just need to learn how to use them depending on the purpose you have.

And now, in this present moment, I'm writing this post because I have to, but I'm happy with it. I am studying for a master's degree to specialize in teaching and there is one of the subjects related to social networks and how to apply it for educational purposes. I have never done this before and, unlike many of my peers, I don't even have teaching experience, so I am more than eager to see what I will learn from this course.
